Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG) joined hands with the Shanghai Automobile Museum to stage the "Joy Touring" exhibition at its museum from April 29, running through the May Day holiday.
The exhibition featured driving tours which emerged in 1930s and displays about 40 pieces ranging from supplies to auto parts, such as suitcase, bags, cosmetics cases, dinnerware, and headlights.
There were also artwork, posters and photos from that time. Visitors were given a closer look at models of classic Rolls-Royces, Fords, as well as an antique Hermes case, Leica camera, and luxury brand logos.
As an international travel hub with an annual throughput of more than 60 million passengers, PVG is committed to providing safer and more comfortable travel for its passengers, providing many interesting and fun exhibits and activities.
PVG’s museum opened in 2014 and is China's first museum in an airport. It has cooperated with the Shanghai bureau of culture, radio, film and television to host several exhibitions.
